The Tekin Hotwire app for Android allows you to adjust your vehicle’s engine, air, and exhaust on-the-go using a compact wireless module (the Hotwire) that can be inserted into the vehicle’s OBD2 port. No need to worry about cables or wrenches, just use your smartphone or tablet to make your adjustments, at any speed or in any gear.
How does the Hotwire work?
The Hotwire is an OBD2 accessory that works with your Android smartphone or tablet to allow you to view and make adjustments to the engine, air, and exhaust systems. You can make adjustments from the vehicle’s dashboard, the floor, or from the driver’s side window.
To make an adjustment, simply open the app and connect the Hotwire to your Android device. Once the connection is established, you can view data logs and see the current settings for each vehicle system. You can then make an adjustment by selecting one of the available systems, entering a number, and selecting a new setting. You can also add an indication for the adjustment, which will help you remember why you made the adjustment.
